GORO Mountain Resort has selected Prinoth as its partner for slope grooming technology. The initial fleet of three Prinoth Leitwolf snow groomers will operate on the slopes of the resort’s first phase and become part of its integrated winter infrastructure system.
Following the signing of contracts with Demaclenko for the development of an automated snowmaking system, the partnership with Prinoth adds slope grooming to the key winter infrastructure systems planned for the resort’s first phase.
GORO is integrating the full cycle of winter infrastructure management — from snow production and distribution to daily slope preparation. This approach is used by modern world-class ski resorts, where snowmaking, slope grooming, lift systems and resort operations function as one integrated system.

Prinoth is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of snow grooming technology, headquartered in Italy. The company’s solutions are used at ski resorts across Europe and North America, as well as for slope preparation for international sports competitions.
The three Prinoth Leitwolf machines selected for GORO are equipped with digital system solutions, including fleet management and snow depth measurement. These systems provide operators with real-time snow depth data, helping them plan grooming and snow management with greater precision.
As a result, the resort will be able to manage snow cover based on data: maintaining consistent slope quality, moving snow to areas where it is needed, and supporting more efficient use of resources such as water, energy, fuel and working time.
The Leitwolf cab is designed to support precise and comfortable operation, with a central seating position, broad visibility of the slope and attachments, joystick controls and touchscreen-based machine functions. The operator identification system can automatically load each operator's individual workplace settings.
One of the three machines will be equipped with an automatic winch. On steeper sections of the slopes, the cable provides traction and stability, allowing precise preparation of challenging terrain while helping reduce downhill snow displacement.

GORO Mountain Resort is an all-season mountain resort being developed by OKKO Group in the Slavsko community of the Lviv region. The total investment in the 1,200-hectare project over 15 years is estimated at approximately USD 1.5 billion. The first phase of the resort will include 10 ski slopes, a 100% coverage of the slope area with snowmaking systems, a gondola lift, two chairlifts, and hotel infrastructure. The opening of the first phase is planned for 2027.
