OKKO Expands Solar Power Across Its Filling Station Network to 244 Sites
Jul 21, 2025

In the first half of 2025, OKKO commissioned rooftop solar power systems at 40 additional filling stations, as well as at its motor transport facility. As a result, 244 stations across the network now generate part of their electricity needs from solar energy, with total installed capacity reaching 5.9 MW.

The company plans to continue expanding solar electrification across its network. In the coming years, rooftop solar systems could be installed at approximately 100 more OKKO locations where technical conditions allow. In 2025 alone, the network is investing UAH 30 million (including VAT) into this initiative.

Most rooftop solar installations have a capacity in the range of 15–25 kW, although several stations operate at 50–65 kW. Depending on capacity, consumption levels, configuration, and other factors, a single installation can cover between 15% and 55% of a station’s daily electricity demand during peak generation periods.

Total electricity generation from solar installations across OKKO filling stations is expected to exceed 5 million kWh in 2025.
