Since last March OKKO's initiative "Warm the defenders" has been in action at gas stations of the OKKO network near the frontlines. The idea is that every soldier can take some free hot drink (tea or coffee) and a hotdog. So, as of mid-March of the current year, 1.4 million of hot drinks and more than 840.000 hotdogs were already served at gas stations.
Currently, Ukrainian defenders are treated at 52 gas stations of the network in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Kherson regions, at part of gas stations in Dnipropetrovsk region and in the village of Horodishche in Chernihiv region.
Clients of the network also actively participate in - they donate points to the project on the "Fishka. Charity" (application or website), or leave any possible money directly at the gas station cash desk for this initiative.
As of January 2023, the total amount of aid provided by OKKO network to Ukrainian defenders, volunteers and local communities that suffered from hostilities or occupation makes UAH 229 million. Fuel for the special units, funds, volunteers, purchase of resuscitation vehicles, cars for the special units, reconstruction of schools and kindergartens in Kyiv region, arrangement of shelters - OKKO company helps from the first days of the full-scale enemy invasion and OKKO continues to help this year.
We also remind that starting from November 2022, OKKO together with "Come Back Alive" foundation launched the “OKO ZA OKO” ("EYE FOR AN EYE") initiative, aiming to purchase 25 SHARK unmanned reconnaissance air complexes for the Armed Forces. Within the framework of the initiative, 1 hryvnia from each liter of sold PULLS fuel (95 gasoline or DIESEL) is transferred to the special account of the initiative. Up-To-Date there have been accumulated funds for already21 complexes.
