GORO Mountain Resort Opens Representative Office in Kyiv
Sep 24, 2025

GORO Mountain Resort, a new all-season mountain destination currently under development in the Lviv Carpathians, has opened a representative office in central Kyiv at 44 Antonovycha Street, in the CHICAGO Central House residential complex. The space recreates the atmosphere of the resort’s future hotels, which are now actively under construction.

“Truly understanding the value of a resort is only possible through personal experience. That’s why our Kyiv office is designed as a complete journey, where every detail is intentional, meaningful, and authentic. This approach creates an immersive experience for investors and visitors, allowing them to immediately почувствовать the brand philosophy, quality standards, and transparency we bring to our work,”said Volodymyr Harazd, CEO of GORO Development and GORO Mountain Resort.

A key focus of the Kyiv office is investment in the resort’s hotel real estate. In early October, GORO Development will launch sales for the second hotel within the resort’s first комплекс—ONDE Hotel. At the office, investors can receive tailored presentations, explore different investment models and participation scenarios, and instantly review projected performance for any unit using a specially developed investment calculator. The tool provides real-time insights into returns and capitalization, enabling quick and informed decision-making.

Part of the team also operates from a co-working space within the office, ensuring openness and ongoing interaction with visitors. The space hosts meetings with partners and contractors, showcases hotel models, and presents materials that communicate the GORO concept.

The office is designed as a cohesive environment—much like the GORO resort itself—where every element, down to the smallest detail, is thoughtfully curated to engage visitors at every step. From the very first moments, guests enter a space where contemporary architecture and design are seamlessly combined with a modern reinterpretation of Boyko cultural traditions.

For example, at the entrance, visitors are welcomed by a wooden reception desk featuring a handwoven willow installation that sets a warm, natural tone for the entire space. Nearby, a coat rack stylized after traditional Boyko wooden tools adds a distinctive cultural touch. Guests can leave their coats and even change into slippers—a small but thoughtful gesture that invites them to slow down and step into a different rhythm.

The centerpiece of the space is a large-scale woven installation, developed over more than three months by local artisans. Its form brings together symbols representing the resort’s all-season nature: kayaks evoke summer water adventures, bicycles symbolize active mountain recreation, and tennis rackets reflect a lifestyle centered on sport and wellbeing. Skis and snowboards reference the resort’s core offering—45 slopes designed to accommodate more than 25,000 riders at once.

Crafted from natural materials and entirely handmade, the installation bridges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design, serving as a metaphor for how GORO combines heritage and innovation.

About GORO Mountain Resort

OKKO Group began construction of the large-scale GORO Mountain Resort project in October 2024. The resort will feature ski slopes with artificial snowmaking systems, modern gondola and chairlift infrastructure, as well as Welcome and Mountain centers. The first phase covers 127 hectares and is designed to accommodate up to 5,000 skiers simultaneously and more than 500,000 visitors annually.

Investment and development of the resort’s hotel real estate are managed by GORO Development, an investment and development company founded in 2021. The company is responsible for architectural concepts, construction, functional and recreational planning, as well as attracting investment into the hotel segment. Its philosophy is based on the principles of organic mountain development: low-density construction, гармоничное integration of architecture into the natural environment, respect for the landscape, and the use of natural materials. The architecture is intended to complement the natural setting rather than transform it, ensuring that nature remains the central focus.

Within the GORO Mountain Resort project, OKKO Group acts as the sole owner, lead investor, master developer, general contractor, and operator, ensuring a cohesive concept and balanced development of the all-season destination. International expertise has been brought in from Austrian firms ILF Group (master planning and ski infrastructure) and PKF Hospitality (investment analysis and concept development).
