OKKO fuel station network and the State Employment Center signed a memorandum on cooperation, aiming to coordinate activities on the labor market of Ukraine with mutual benefits. The parties are convinced that their partnership can become an example of effective cooperation between large private business and state authorities in solving one of the most urgent problems - providing Ukrainians with stable work and decent working conditions during the difficult economic situation.
"Our company is one of the largest employers in Ukraine. We employ more than 10,000 people in all regions of the country. And since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, we didn’t reduce neither staff, nor salaries, and we didn’t stop the recruiting process for a single day, - commented OKKO’s HR Director Yevgenia Kuzmynska. – The goals of OKKO and the State Employment Center coincide in many aspects. The task of employment centers is to fight unemployment and provide citizens with high-quality jobs. We are ready to offer job seekers an official salary, a social package and opportunities for career growth. Therefore, our partnership is already bringing results."
OKKO network began close cooperation with the State Employment Center in October 2023. And as of the end of November, more than 300 people in various regions of Ukraine responded to vacancies with the help of regional employment centers. 15 people have already been employed as operators and junior fuel station operators. Several dozen more are in the process of undergoing interviews or medical examinations.
Among other issues, the memorandum implies regular exchange of information between the State Employment Center and OKKO in the field of human capital development; selection of qualified personnel to fill the employer's vacancies; holding joint events, such as conferences, seminars, "round tables", exhibitions and information campaigns aimed at achieving common goals, etc.
