2 mln Ukrainian monthly eat tasty meals at OKKO

10 years ago OKKO network has expanded its activities to catering business. Today this business area of the network has grown to the biggest network of roadhouses with wide menu and nutritious food. Every day tens of thousands of Ukrainians visit 41 restaurants and 400 cafes of the delicious filling stations network to drink their favorite coffee, have a tasty snack or have a wholesome lunch on the road. As of today, OKKO monthly sells around 1.8 mln coffees, 850 000 hot dogs and over 60 000 cups of soup.

“Our work forms the new meals culture on the road. Our stations offer the drivers very nice and benefitial alternative to dry snacks with sandwiches, - says the manager of restaurant business of OKKO network Andyi Yanchuk. – We offer nor only tastly and hearty snacks, but full and balanced meal any time of the day any place of Ukraine. You can enjoy nice warm soup not only in the restaurants but also in many cafes of our network. The team of our rectaurant business consist of more than 1000 employees, and they all strive to make every visit to OKKO for the drivers and the passengers  one of the best moments of the road with pleasant emotions”.

Today the network of delicious filling stations OKKO has 400 cafes, 32 A la minute restaurants (European cuisine), 8 PastaMia restaurants (Italian cuisine) and 1 Meiwei restaurant (pan-Asian cuisine). They all work 24/7. For the 10 years the network never stopped the process of improvement, expanding the offer of tasty products and services. In 2014 all the coffee machines at OKKO stations were replaced with superautomatic machines of Melitta trademark. These machines provide the stable etalon quality of hot drinks through all network. The 100% Arabica coffee beans for OKKO cafes and restaurants are bought from Rombouts company, the official coffee supplier of Belgian Royal Court for 50 years.

In 2015 in Kyiv on filling station at 4A Novokonstyantynivska Str. the company presented the outstanding concept of “new generation smartfood” – the restaurant of pan-Asian cuisine Meiwei. The menu of the restaurant offers fast and understandable food for modern citizens of the capital. Within the ‘smartfood’ concept the food is cooked just in few minutes after the order, thus saving the maximum time of the guest and saving the nutritious qualities of the ingredients. The additional advantage of Meiwei – Drive service, that enable ordering and picking up the favorite dishes staying in the car.

In spring 2016 the network launched the unique product – chocolate hotdog, which combines crispy French bun, Belgian chocolate, cherry toping and marshmallow. This new prosuct has all chances to set new market trend in Ukraine. The new product was launched on 25 popular filling stations, but due to high demand just in two months it was launched on 350 more complexes.

The restaurants and cafes of OKKO stand out not only with tasty food, but also with quality service, ergonomic design, free Wi-Fi and attention to every category of the visitors. Our outlets have all conditions for people with special requirements. For parents travelling with children we have baby changing tables, kids menu and highchairs. Several filling stations have children’s playgrouds and stations in Gatne and Hamalyyivka are equipped with see-saws and pull-up bars. There is a dedicate one for bikers in Ryasna-Ruska near the A la minute restaurant, equipped with special parking slots for motorbikes with video surveillance, rain protection, bike washing facilities and electronic maps. Moreover, the network constant has special offers for touristic groups and drivers of ling-distant trucks.

“We change and improve all the time, but the one principle is never changing: may it be the small filling station on local road or big complex on the highway – the quality of the service should be at the highest level”, remarked Andyi Yanchuk.
