OKKO has saved the military more than UAH 131 million in three months. And this is only within the framework of the state program “Pluses” in the Army+ application from the Ministry of Defense and own OKKO initiative “Warm the Defenders”, as company treats defenders with free coffee and hot dogs at frontline filling stations.
In March-May of this year, filling stations network OKKO assisted for over UAH 131 million to the Ukrainian military. The support was provided as part of two initiatives: the military support program Pluses in the Army+ app from the Ministry of Defense and Warm the Defenders at frontline filling stations.
"We are well aware of how important it is to support the army not only at the state level, but also from the business side. Participation in OKKO Plus and our initiative is a continuation of the systematic support of the military. It's not just about discounts, it's about respect, gratitude and the will to be close to the military every day," said Vasyl Dmytriv, Vice President of Marketing at OKKO.
OKKO joined the “Pluses” program in March. The program allows to receive discounts on fuel, food and drinks at all filling stations of the network. During the three months of participation in the program, it was used 540 thousand times. In particular, more than 9.7 million liters of fuel were filled at a discount. In addition to fuel, the most popular products at the filling stations among the military are coffee, hot dogs and ice cream.
"Fuel discount offers are what the military want to see the most according to the results of the survey in Army+ for the “Pluses” program. And OKKO filling station network responded to this request and provided a very cool offer for defenders, which makes the savings very tangible. I hope that we will continue our cooperation in the future,"commented Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization.
As part of a separate initiative “Warm the Defenders”, the company offers free coffee and hot dogs at 54 frontline filling stations in Kharkiv, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Sumy, Mykolaiv and Chernihiv regions.
In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, OKKO has already allocated UAH 2.6 billion to support the Defense Forces and humanitarian initiatives, including the purchase of equipment, weapons, drones, vehicles, fuel and another supplement. Now the fourth wave of “OKO za OKO” initiative is underway - the company donates 1 hryvnia from each sold liter of PULLS fuel to strengthen the army as part of the Dronefall initiative stated by “Come Back Alive” Foundation.
