OKKO IS INSPIRED BY THE "SHARKS" FLASH MOB: ILLUSTRATRATION WILL BE TURNED INTO MURAL
Nov 18, 2022

Soon, in Kyiv will appear another patriotic mural. It will be based on the image of Ukrainian illustrator Dartsya Zironka, which she presented on her Instagram as a part of a flash mob among creative community. The author drew a Ukrainian soldier holding a reconnaissance complex "SHARK" on his shoulder.

"We are very grateful for the support and pleased that creative community participates in our initiative "OKO ZA OKO" (EYE FOR AN EYE) and had launched such a flash mob. We were greatly inspired by the illustrations and literally immediately there has come an idea to turn one of them into mural. All the works are beautiful, patriotic, modern, but we had to choose one as a mural basis. The next morning, we were talking with one of the authors -Dartsya Zironka - and we offered her cooperation, - said Yaroslava Polyakova, the Head of OKKO’s corporate communications department. - We are sure that thanks to broad support, we will quickly accumulate funds to purchase 25 modern reconnaissance complexes for the Armed Forces, and after the victory, this mural will be a reminder of unity and patriotism of Ukrainians, who are standing side by side to defend our country both at the frontline and in the home front".

We remind that within the framework of the "OKO ZA OKO" (EYE FOR AN EYE) initiative, there will be purchased 25 "SHARK" reconnaissance complexes for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The overall sum to collect is 325 million hryvnias. Starting from November, OKKO network transfers 1 hryvnia from each liter of PULLS 95/DIESEL fuel for the purchase of "SHARKs". Funds for the first complex were already accumulated during the first week of the initiative. As for today, the public counter on the website of the project shows that there has already been collected funds for two SHARKS.

"SHARK" is the modern development of the Ukrainian company "Ukrspetssystems" and its partners, which has a number of technological advantages comparing to analogues. The complex is capable to adjust effectively systems of artillery fire, including MLRS systems HIMARS, and also it can perform a number of other combat tasks. Each complex consists of a ground control station based on a specially modified cross-country vehicle, unmanned aerial vehicles and a launcher.

"Come Back Alive" complexes purchased with the help of Ukrainians will be distributed based on the current situation at the front and the recommendations of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since the complexes are high-class special equipment, they will be able to be used, particularly, by separate reconnaissance battalions, special forces and units that adjust long-range artillery as part of infantry brigades.
