OKKO INSTALLED 24 NEW ULTRA FAST CHARGERS AT 19 FUEL STATIONS — ELECTRIC VEHICLE DRIVERS NOW FIND IT EASIER TO TRAVEL TO OTHER CITIES
Jul 30, 2025

The filling station network is systematically developing high-speed charging infrastructure on key highways in Ukraine.

In the first half of 2025, OKKO network installed at 19 filling stations 24 new ultra-fast charging stations — Ultra Fast Chargers. Thus, the company continues to systematically develop its service for electric vehicles and responds to the challenge of the times — the lack of convenient highway infrastructure for electric cars.

The new chargers have appeared both on key routes — Kyiv–Odesa, Kyiv–Lviv–Chop, Boryspil–Dnipro–Zaporizhzhia — and in large cities: Kyiv, Lviv, Dnipro, and others. In total, there are now 60 Ultra Fast Chargers operating at 36 fuel stations in the network. The company is investing in the development of infrastructure that allows electric vehicle drivers to charge their batteries to 80% in just 30–40 minutes — and continue their journey without long stops.

"We saw a challenging issue: electric vehicles were actively used within cities, but they lacked good infrastructure on intercity routes. Therefore, back in 2023, we made a strategic decision to systematically develop the service on highways. This way, we simplify the lives of drivers who want to travel long distances in electric cars," SAID VASYL DMYTRIV, OKKO'S VICE PRESIDENT OF MARKETING. - For example, the largest charging hub for electric vehicles appeared near the village of Levkiv in the Zhytomyr region — on the highway from western Ukraine to Kyiv. Twelve cars can be charged here at the same time. We constantly analyze customer behavior and build where it is really convenient for them," he added.

According to Mr. Dmitriev, OKKO always analyzes and responds promptly to customer requests.

We remind, that OKKO network began developing electric vehicle charging stations back in 2014. In 2023, the company set a course for scaling the service and became one of the first players in the market to systematically invest in an ultra-fast charging network. Today, charging stations of various capacities and with different types of ports are already available at 52 fuel stations in the network.

According to the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as of early 2025, more than 160,000 electric vehicles have been registered in Ukraine — 2.5 times more than in 2023. For the convenience drivers can use the interactive map of charging stations on the OKKO website.
